I believe you should feel safe with your therapist and in counseling and I strive to create a sense of safety with you.

My approach is strength based and puts you in the driver’s seat to accomplish your goals in the therapeutic process. You will step into a space that is non-judgmental where you can process your experiences and pave a path toward healing.

I specialize in working with couples who are struggling in parenting and wanting to learn new skills to help their children thrive. I have a vast experience of foster care and adoption and helping parents navigate the complexities of parenting a child who has experienced trauma. Additionally, I work with individuals who are wanting to work through relational conflict, life transitions, and obstacles they feel that are blocking them from living their fullest potential. Lastly, I am passionate about working with individuals who want to understand how their relational patterns can impact their parenting, romantic and other relationships.

I use attachment theory to help individuals understand how their early life experiences can impact their relationships today. I am a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner and can teach parents strategies to implement in home that will help their child who has experienced trauma or been in foster care or adopted. I use family systems and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques as well as a trauma informed approach.
